Product Description
The Family Feud games features all of the favorite elements of the show as played on television, with two families playing against each other in a contest to name the most popular answers to survey questions posed to 100 people. The game is rendered with a dynamic redesign of familiar aspects such as the scoreboard, face offs, strikes, stealing and fast money rounds. The Family Feud game also incorporates connected gaming elements to make it easy and entertaining for friends and family to play and interact together.

4 out of 5 stars Some glitches, but overall a fun game   July 2, 2010
Michael Ceciliani (New York City)
I bought this game around the time it came out. It pretty much plays the same as the modern version BEFORE the car and Bullseye round were added. You hear but don't see the host. You can play against the computer or another human. When you buzz in, your PC figure hits the plunger as well - nice touch. You're given ample time to type in your answers. This game is more leinient with answers than the FF game released a few years back - where you had to practically type in answers word for word to get credit for it.

There's the good, now the bad stuff. Your PC figure sometimes appears on screen when it seems it shouldn't, like when all the answers on the board are revealed. Not sure if this was done intentionally, but it doesn't look right, in my opinion. Some of the answers are in bad taste. One question was "Name a smell you always recognize." The Number 2 answer was "fart." If this is an indication of where our society is going, it's not pretty. The host tends to repeat himself.

There's a solo feature where you must defeat 12 families. So far, I've defeated seven. The graphics are decent and the questions capture the overall feel of the game. It's challenging. I got 199 in the Fast Money round the first time I played it - missed it by that much. A decent buy for $20, and you must have the disc in the PC to play it each time.

4 out of 5 stars Good Game   April 15, 2010

This is a fun game, although I did that notice there are a lot of questions about bugs and animals! (Maybe it's just me?!?) The graphics are colorful and it's fun to change the clothes on the avatar. The host is invisible, and has a limited volcabulary which is a little boring in my opinion (where's John O'Hurley when you need him!). They do give too much time in the lightening round to answer the questions, probably for those who type on the slower side. I have Windows Vista and have to 'run' the disk to start the game every time I play which is a bit annoying (once it gets going, the disk can be ejected).

5 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT PRICE FOR FUN GAME   November 17, 2009

Bought the Family Feud for a work party and everyone had a BALL without having to spend a ton of money.

3 out of 5 stars Rehash face lift with less features   October 17, 2009

My wife bugged me for two weeks to pick up this game. Until this purchase we play online at Wild Games and an older Hasbro PC version with Louie Anderson. From most of the reviews I read I expected a completely different game. What I found was a rehash of questions from a game I bought years ago. There isnt much to the game and the AI is lacking, when the Computer decides to answer it is usually the same as my third strike. You can create a player but not a family and you have to make your way through the easy one player mode to unlock clothes, hairstyles and accessories. Don't get me wrong the game is fun, but only for so long. The spell check is no better than the previous Feud versions. Also, sometmes the answers are too specific and other times want more detail. I am glad I only spent $[...] on the PC version. I planned on buying the Wii version but changed my mind at the last minute. I would rate this a $[...] bargain bin game at best. I didn't feel any more enjoyment than playing the other two version I have access to.

4 out of 5 stars Got some glitches, but its still FUN!!   October 10, 2009

This game has a few glitches, but its still worth it!

One of the main glitches I notice is that I have to insert the disk every time I want to play. There is no icon on my desktop for me to click. That is very annoying. Sometimes the in-game graphics modify slightly, but its not to bad and does not happen often.

The questions are Great and can be really challenging at times. The format is very good and gives the REAL show feeling when you play. I love that you can actually see the characters hit the buzzer. I haven't played 2 player mode yet (no one wants to play), but I am sure its as fun as the single player mode.

All in all, I think this is a solid buy and you can enjoy it and could make a good party game!
