Great game for fans of the 80s June 24, 2010

If you lived through the 80s and have a fairly good memory, this game is for you. Martha Quinn, one of the original MTV 80s veejays, guides you through the game. You get a choice of point values. As you might guess, the higher the point value, the harder the question. You could also buzz in with "I know it" if you're sure of the answer. In the multiple choices, you get three chances to get it right. If you do really well, the game will give you a higher level to shoot for to win, thus stretching the game out. This could be good or bad, depending on how much you enjoy the game.
Martha's pretty much Martha, except she tends to repeat herself. Overall, a good game about 80s pop culture. The TV shows, movies and the music (natch) are all covered here. NOTE: Martha and I attended NYU together. We both worked at the radio station there. She went further ahead in the music world than I did.

I REALLY APPRECIATE THE PROMPT AND EFFICIENT DELIVERY OF THIS PRODUCT. I AM REALLY ENJOYING THE GAME. I WOULD DEFINITELY ORDER AGAIN.

Are you into 80s movies, games, T.V. shows, sports, music, or anything else from the 80s? If so, then this is your game. Prepare to travel through time back to the 80's as Martha Quinn, former MTV V.J., host this out of the world trivia game that brings back old memories for some of us.
If you recall the Tubes, "Never Say Never Again," and the introduction of Burger King's Croissan'wich, pick up The 80's Game and relive the good time. This game is fun for the whole family, as well as getting together with your friends and trying to see who is the 80s master.

Generally anything that has to do with trivia I go crazy for, anything from Jeopardy to Trivial Pursuit, etc., so when I saw the 80's game I knew I had to try it. The trivia is excellent; it's fun, and not too easy that anyone can get it, and not so difficult that you feel dumb for even attempting to play it.
One of the major drawbacks is Martha Quinn as the host. While I don't mind the real Martha Quinn, the one in the game is annoying and repetitive. It seems that used a lot of the same sound bites over and over, which gets old very quickly.
All in all, fun fun fun if you like trivia, or if you just like the 80's. Worth a try.
