4 out of 5 stars Great Headset with some Minor Irritation   January 7, 2009
Benjamin Valyou
This is an excellent headset for the price you pay. The sound quality is adequate, and the microphone picks up your voice, but the bit that goes over your ears takes a bit of getting used to. This headset is not designed for long-term use on a single day without some conditioning, as the ear supports start feeling a bit sharp after a few hours, and can cause blisters if you ignore it (this is from personal experience =P). If you only plan to use it for an hour or two at a time, this is a great headset, but if you're a hardcore gamer with lots of time on your hands, go for something with a different design or more padding.

5 out of 5 stars Great Headset   January 5, 2009

I ordered this headset about a month ago and I'm very pleased with it. I've traveled across the country twice with it fairly precariously packed and it is holding up great. Due to it's shape it's a bit odd to pack. The mic doesn't exactly fold away as it might with other headsets but it works well enough. The sound quality from the headset is great and from what I can tell the mic quality on the other side of the line comes out crisp as well. It is nice to have volume control on the cord (as well as a mute switch.) Fits comfortably for the most part (as comfortable as any headphones are.)

5 out of 5 stars Gaming headphones that are affordable and work   December 24, 2008

I've tried several expensive versions from Turtle Beach, Sennheiser, and others, and all have disappointed for various reasons. Spending $150 on something and not being blown away, having driver issues, dealing with power cords, etc... sucks. I bought these head phones, plugged them in, and was chatting away, fragging people in TF2 without any set up whatsoever. I recommended these to several of my friends and they have been using them without issue as well.

If you want a simple, stereo headset that works, try these. If you don't like them, you're out $15 - not $150.

4 out of 5 stars Bang for the buck headset.   December 12, 2008

The price can't be beat. The quality of the design is great and it simply works. There are more comfortable headsets available, but at this price the Logitech Extreme PC Gaming Headset can't be beat.

5 out of 5 stars Best, headset, ever.   December 3, 2008

Okay, I know what your thinking. This is another piece of crapper wear, with good headphones and a bad mic. Now what your thinking is WRONG! If you plan on playing any hl2 games (CS:S, halflife 2 dm, etc.) this is the mic for you! When you speak, its clear, its not raspy and it doesn't sound like your eating it, its perfect. There is absolutely no flaws to this, no hardware to install just plug in the mic and headphone jack and your set.
