 Still My Favorite December 30, 2005

Obviously this game is very old, especially by PS2 standards. However it is the one hockey game I come back to time after time. Why? You can TWEAK this game to create one of the most fast paces, high energy, fun hockey experiences ever. Simply adjusting the play speed, hard hits, the speed of the puck, etc to the maximum levels, you will see what I mean. I have been playing Playstation hockey since Faceoff 98 and all the way up to this year. I've played em' all and I just can't get enough of this one. For me, it's exactly what I want in a hockey game. Get one, it's obviously like a dollar right now, take it home and tweak it to the max. You'll see what I mean. An amazing, fun and unrealistic game!
GREAT GAME!!! January 17, 2005
This game is great on one or two player mode, but I prefer playing two player all day with my dad because I kick his butt easily but he wins once in a blue moon. The bottom line is this game will give you hours of fun, so I recommend this game.

I thought this was the best hockey playwise nhl.i havent played 2002,but play wise it is much more like the real nhl! especially the saves the goalies make,they literally steal the game or leave it tied at times! the defense is much more like real nhl,but 03',and 04' did have better graphics thats why i give it 4 stars! i highly recommend it!

Good game October 17, 2002
It has very good graphics and gameplay but the downside is weak CPU and you get bored with it after a while. For example, I once beat the computer 25 to 1. A good game but it wont last forever
