5 out of 5 stars What a great game.   August 22, 2007
Dana R. Weber (High Ridge MO)
This is a terrific game the game features all of the trucks on the ushra monster jam circuit. The best part is there not locked. Another great thing is you get to smash and shoot up your opponets and yes it will cause maximum destruction.

4 out of 5 stars Reality "twist" on Twisted Metal   July 21, 2007
Blake Davenport (Lexington,KY)
The graphics are good and the game can be intense. My original thought of the game was that it was a replica of the TNN TV show, but when I got it home it shocked me because even though you can cause mayhem, the game isn't true to life at all. It really remindeed me of the Twisted metal series, because the game (Twisted Metal) was based around weapon use with vehicles. It is the same principal with Monster Jam Maximum Destruction, it just has the monster truck pro series instead of random characters.Overall its a really great game and is a blast to play with another player, but otherwise I would like to see more realism out of a newer version.

5 out of 5 stars Monster Jam Maximum Destruction: Maxium Non-Loser   November 20, 2003

Monster Jam Maximum Destruction? A maxium non-loser in the Twisted Metal Rip-off clone dept. That's Right, you won't be racing these baby's around in a little circle while you suck your thumb like a new-fledged infant, this is some top-of-the-line Monster Truckage, and, Tony Danza, do I really have to tell who's the boss? Want heat lamps, death rays, a super-sized magnifying-glass with which to incinderate your opponents, utilizing the sun's deadly rays, rent Kirby's Circus Adventure. In this game, you don't win by collecting the most power-ups or by being first across the finish line, you win by actually causing vehicular explosions to occur on-screen. You heard me, these 4x4's are not only equipped with jumbo treads, rollcages, and cosmic paintjobs, they're armed. Blast your way amidst fantastic, wild, visionary scenery in what I might go so far as to term a sort of "Death-Opera", wherein the likes of Wild Thing, Bigfoot, Reptoid, the Abomnible Superplow, are the Pavarratis and the Anna Pavlovas. So, if your looking for some Tonka toy action rent the Sound of Music. Fans of the monster truck scene itself may suffer at the hands of disappointment as none of the activities/mini-games were designed for morons, alas.

Monster Jam is a good game. It is way better than vigilante 8 1 and 2 because you can even kill a truk with out weapons.
