For the first it's OK November 16, 2008 First Citizens 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Many ways they can improve. Graphics are great but the story line was a little lame. Felt lost and clueless quite often. I keep in mind that the first Nancy Drew game was quite lame as well. And look how GREAT they are now. There is hope for the Hardy Boys. I would suggest playing just so you can get use to the tools and game format.
Hardy Boys November 12, 2008 Carolyn White I am unable to give a review on the game because I have not been able to resolve the technical issues. I currently have a request in to the technical support for the manufacturer but they are slow to respond. There are many technical problems with the game so it's been frustrating. I certainly would NOT have purchased this game if I'd done my homework first!!
Snoozefest November 10, 2008 mdniteowl I have every Nancy Drew game made, and was so exited to know Hardy Boys had a game. What a waste of money!!!!!I love adventure company games and was so anticipating this one.Do not be suckered in to buying it!!!The first 10 minutes are ridiculous just trying to get the stupid keys. The worst of all is waiting between scenes for the game to load.I have never experienced such a long wait for loading.I swear I dozed off a couple of times. This game is a complete waste of good money!!!!!
Bad, Bad & Bad November 5, 2008 Mrs. Coffee (New York United States) This game is terrible.. I too was excited being a fan of the Nancy Drew games.. I was hoping that this would be along the same lines as Nancy Drew.. its not.. the boys movements are terrible.. the story makes no sense when collecting items.. its just bad..
disappointed November 1, 2008 Dawn M. Gintz (tampa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you are used to Nancy Drew games and are expecting the same quality, you will be greatly disappointed. Game crashed after ten minutes of play. People don't move easily. Not fun at all.
