3 out of 5 stars Tough for all ages but FUN   January 6, 2009
Meg
This game is really hard for younger children who don't understand the concerpt of moving at the same pace as the little bubble. My little sister, who is 4, had a very hard time with this game but my other sister, who is 26, absolutely loves the game! It is doable for younger children (she, the 4 year old, eventually got the hang of it) but can be frustrating to them. You also have to aim low in order for the wii to pick up the motion. If you move your arm too high it does not register.

4 out of 5 stars High School Musical 3 Dance   January 6, 2009

This was bought for my teenage daughter. She has really enjoyed it but I believe it would have been even more fun if it had the dance pad. The Wii version is done only with hand motions. It does go from easy to quite complicated though. My daughter loves the music so she doesn't really care that it's only arm and hand motions.

4 out of 5 stars HSM 3 for Wii   December 31, 2008

My 9 year old LOVES this game. Her favorite features......creating the characters, and the reward of "extra songs" that unlocked while she was playing. (I don't know what made them unlock- I think they unlock when she masters a level????) My favorite feature.....a little exercise......not alot, but enough to make me feel better about letting her play video games!

1 out of 5 stars Don't Buy!! Terrible Game!! Kids HATE it!!   December 28, 2008

Don't believe any positive reviews....they are written by the company that produced this game. This is the worst game you could ever buy. Your kids will hate it!!! It doesn't work at all....none of the Wii controls work and it will frustrate your kids for the 10 minutes they will waste on it before throwing it aside forever.

This is a pure example of just trying to get your money because of a popular movie, but the product has the quality of a cheap 1970's attempt at computer games. The graphics are a joke, the characters have nothing to do with the movie. They couldn't even afford the real soundtrack, so it is done by "The Sound Alikes". The directions were written by a teenager with no writing skills and no understanding of the game. But since the game doesn't work and is useless, the directions are a good match for it.

I will return it, or burn it, and will invest some of my time writing reviews to warn others against this cheap garbage that rips off kids and parents.

2 out of 5 stars Game is good for young children only   December 27, 2008

I bought this game for my 13 year old daughter. Her grandma asked me to get a game for her to play on the new Wii they were buying the kids for Christmas. I read the reviews on this and figured it was iffy whether she'd like it or not. She liked the movies so I thought she might like this. She too was disappointed the voices are not the real ones of the songs from the movie and the dance moves are way too easy for her. This game is better geared for young children. I think it's deceiving to put the picture of the actual singers on the cover and then not have their voices singing the songs.
