Just a bit blurry December 31, 2008 Smeddley 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I liked the storyline and one of the two end-of-level games, but this game is tough to play because the screen is just a little blurred. I'm pretty sure it's not my computer, and it plays the other hidden object games (Mystery Case Files and Hidden Mystery) with crisp, clear perfection. Even with the eye strain, though, this is a decent hidden object game since it has plays on words and really well-concealed objects. Be warned, though, the last level is near impossible...
This game is worth it if you already own all the stellar hidden object games and are looking for something new at a decent price. It would not be my first choice if you're new to the genre, but if you're an old hat it's a pleasant enough new weekend diversion.
I Like This Game October 24, 2008 MariaA37 (New York) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've played a bunch of hidden objects games and this is one of my favorites. As another reviewer said, some of the items are a little hard to find and some of the words (in the word game) are hard to find, but overall I think it's one of the better hidden objects games and recommend it. I did need help in the last round of the game though, but this isn't the first game I've needed help with either (for those of you who've played, think Madame Fate puzzles).
hidden object the magician's handbook September 28, 2008 Ms. Cheryl C. Riley 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I like the game even though the objects are somewhat child like to find and the words that you need to find to cast spells are sometimes difficult. There are times when some of the objects are not what we expect them to look like. I would buy it or give it as a gift for those who like these type of games.
