5 out of 5 stars wii sports game   January 6, 2009
D. Blake (Utah)
I'm a 54 yr, old grandma who never plays video games. I see the kids and grand children play and wonder how they do it. At christmas I went to my daughters to se my newest grand daughter and tried the Wii sports game and went throught each of the sports. Each one was fun and gave me quite a workout. Needless to say when I returned to my home I purchased my own Wii unit and games and am enjoying it. If it had not been for Wii Sports I would have never known how fun everyone of every age and condition can enjoy this game.

5 out of 5 stars Family Fun!!!   January 6, 2009
Ameliah EarHart (Colorado)
This game gave me and my 8 year old son something to do together over school break. We improve over time. (He's actually better than I am.) It gets kids up off their bottoms, even when the snow is blowing outdoors. I think for that reason it is better than conventional video games. It may be too wholesome for people who like the shoot 'em up/sex games, but for people like me and my family, it's great! And since, it costs like $30 per game for three people to bowl, the $250 one time at Wal-mart, to buy wii & sports game together play bowling, baseball, tennis, golf as much as you have time for is a pretty good deal. My son thinks it is a great game!!!

5 out of 5 stars We Love the Golf Game   January 2, 2009
butterflywebgraphics.com (St. Joseph, MO United States)
My husband and I love the golf game in this package and wish Nintendo would come out with an expansion. We play this game a lot. No other golf game we tried compares. It's not realistic like the Tiger Woods Golf game, but it's fun. Up to 4 people can play at once, making it great family entertainment. Also, as another reviewer said, it's a great introduction to the WII. I was somewhat intimidated by the WII until I tried this game. Give it a try; you'll like it! It's addictive.

5 out of 5 stars This game is why I purchased a Wii   January 1, 2009

I played this game at my brother's place and the very next day my husband and I went out and purchased a wii!
I love the tennis and bowling and continue to better my score with each game. The games are good for both solo and group play. Use of the miis adds a personal touch and is particularly entertaining when playing with family or friends.
In my opinion this is the best wii game out on the market and no other game comes close...yet.

5 out of 5 stars This game is great!!   December 29, 2008
Jesse, Connor and Devlin's Mum (Buffalo, NY, USA)
We got the Wii for Christmas and it came with this game. It has been played every single day since we opened it and set it up. My husband plays bowling and baseball, my 8 year old plays every single sport and I play the tennis and bowling and just love it.

The animation is cool, it's fun but challenging at the same time and there are a lot of different things packed into it. You can play a game, exercise with a variety of routines designed for each individual sport or you can test yourself with the fitness part. While it's not an indication, truly, of your overall fitness it's a lot of fun to compare yourself to everyone in the house and try to lower your score.

I would recommend this game to anyone. Surprisingly you get a good workout, my husband woke up with a sore arm after playing 9 innings of baseball! Even my 8 year old ends up panting and needing a rest after a few games of tennis or baseball!
