Kids love it January 8, 2009 Y. Hansen (Utah) My kids use this and are every bit as happy with this guitar as the one that came with their Guitar Hero 3 Bundle. It came with an alternate faceplate and so my daughter decorated it "girly" and her brother can use the other faceplate.
Died after one day January 7, 2009 A. Kam (West Michigan, USA) Nearing the end of an evening of fine 12 year single malt Scotch and hard rocking, the Frontman Wireless Guitar ceased to function properly. At first it was just unresponsive. After turning off the guitar and resetting the system, the guitar receiver went haywire whenever connected to the system, sending endless directional and button commands without even touching the controller.
Found another Les Paul Gibson for $20 and I am much happier with that.
P.S. I observed no difference between the "Guitar Hero" mode and the "Rock Band" mode.
ok for the old rock band January 2, 2009 Kutty 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
It is not compatible with the Rock Band 2!! Pretty cheaply made as well.I bought 2 of them, and one of the LARGE pedals (usb wireless adapter) broke. I will be returning them. The new GH world tour guitars work with all.
Works Great! December 29, 2008 Michael A. Sosa (San Antonio, TX) I bought this guitar only a couple of days ago and it has been working great for me. I found that by holding both (dongle and guitar) synch buttons down at the same time made the guitar synch to the system. This is easily a great investment and now we're having more fun than ever!

I may have just received a defective guitar, but I could not get it to sync with my PS3 Rock Band game. We had to send it back after one day. When looking for a replacement at local stores, I noticed that every other guitar for the PS3 Rock Band game is double the price. This could just be a case of a cheapo bargain guitar and you get what you get and you don't get upset.
