This is a great product, but not recommended for the average consumer. There are reasons the DS Lite comes in different flavor, and that is so people can get the color they want without having to tinker around with their valuable piece of tech.
If you know what you are doing, go ahead and buy it. If not, stay away unless you know someone who knows what they are doing.

DO NOT BUY this product unless you are an electronics expert. There are very useful guides on disassembling the DS, but not reassembling, and not its not just the opposite, that would be too easy. I currently have a DS that indeed looks nice with the clear case, but doesn't turn on.
