Product Description .Hack G.U. Volume 1 delivers an epic, immersive RPG experience in the world of the hit sci-fi fantasy game and TV series. What if what you do as a player in a game impacted your real world? What is reality? .hack has pursued this innovative concept in the previous 4-part series where "The World" was ultimately destroyed. Years after the events of the first .hack series, "The World" was rebuilt. As a new player, you are saved on your first day in "The World" from several PKs (Player Killers) by a mysterious man. From this day on, you have dedicated your time to hunt down PKs. Word in "The World" is that the legendary PK you have been searching for has surfaced, and you must now set out to find "it". Your world is thrown into chaos when you finally encounter this PK, and are defeated by him! The Special Edition is in an Exclusive Collector's Box and includes an Exclusive Haseo Action Figure and Terminal Disc - a Playstation 2 system exclusive Disc with a video digest that shows what occured in the previous .Hack series

Special Edition with Figure and Extra Disk February 10, 2008 Twin #2 (?) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
First I will start off with that I will not review the actual game. I will let you read reviews of it on that product.
The extra disk is a summary of the original four games plus something extra that I will let you discover for yourself if you so choose to buy this edition. You have to unlock each video separately by watching the ones before it or playing parts of the game. The game itself comes in the same box as the regular edition and is also wrapped in plastic.
The figure of Haseo is pretty cool. The downsides of it are that he can only move his wrists, his blades take forever to put into his hands, and the hole for something else you stick into his back seems to be lower than it should, preventing me from placing it into him.
Overall I suggest buying the special edition of .hack//G.U. Vol.1 but not paying this absurd price. I would say it is not worth more than $45. If you want this but do not want to pay the exageratted price, I suggest keeping your eyes open at every Game Stop or E.B. Games you enter.
