Fun if you ever catch a fish. November 23, 2008 Hatterharry This is supposed to be a basic, arcade style fishing game for the family to play. One assumes an adult or child could pick it up and catch fish with little practice. This is not the case; not even close. The controls are so slow and unresponsive that after about 4 hours of playing time, I still am lucky to catch even 10% of the fish I hook. Why make a family arcade game so hard? I have had at least 5 other people, from rookies to expert gamers try to catch fish and no one seems to be able to master the action. If you enjoy watching fish after fish break off, then I guess you would enjoy this title. You can be critical of my review if you want, but if you are buying this game for the 8-15 year old crowd, then buyer beware in my book. The game will end up collecting dust!
Fun if you like to fish October 28, 2008 Nicole Shea (Charleston, SC) This game is fun if you enjoy trying to catch as many fish as you can in a timed period. We really enjoy the different choices the game gives you as far as fishing environments and lures.
great September 6, 2008 C. leigey (everywhere) i got this game after playing wii hooked for 2 months and wish i wouldve gotten this one first. at some points its really easy but still fun. you still have to figure out what lure to use with what condition. some say this game is too easy but i think you still have to have some skill to do good. its not like wii hooked where you get a big one to bite and 2 seconds later the line breaks. i would recommend this game to anyone that wants to have fun and be rewarded for it.
Sega Bass Fishing for Wii July 15, 2008 J. Kefauver (Maryland) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this as a gift for Father's Day for my husband. He LOVES it! The graphics are quite nice, especially the underwater shots. You can choose your own lures, and places to fish, there are tournaments, etc. I often come home and find him "fishing". It is highly recommended compared to another brand we bought earlier and that is gathering dust.
Mom of two June 18, 2008 Roseann Guagno (Littleton, CO United States) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I originally bought this Wii game for my husband for Father's Day. He thinks the game is too easy and more for kids than adults.
