Easy to use. Great intro to Wii December 28, 2008 Books Bee We rented this for our two daughters (11 and 7) and we really love it. We just got our Wii so we were still figuring out how to use it. This game is fantastic! It is very forgiving and not too difficult -- you can make mistakes and it doesn't kill you and make you start from the beginning. It also gives you a hint if you seem like you are stuck. My husband and I found it addictive and my 11 year old loves it and won't stop playing it. We are now ready to buy!
good game for children November 27, 2008 B. McMillan (Far off land) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son is 5 and likes the game very much. Levels 4, 6, 8 and 11, which are the kind that show random buttons to press in a short time, similar to Guitar Hero, requires my help. He likes me to play with him though. The game goes to level 14. There are three save game sessions to choose from. There's shooting but it's ice cream, ping pongs, and hamburger patties. Game is overly simple for adults but seems just right for young children.
Ok for people who don't mind repetiton. November 7, 2008 Jana Taylor (Iowa, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We gave this game to our (nearly) 5 year old son. He loves it. There were some parts of it I liked too like the background story in between the game segments (levels) fit right with the Atlantis Squarepantis movie and made the game feel cohesive.
What I didn't like so much is it had a lot of the games that were repetitive which to me = boring. But my son doesn't seem to mind, so that is why I gave it as many stars as I did. The game wasn't for me after all, it was for him.
Great for young kids. October 5, 2008 M. Greener 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my 6-year old, who loved the game and was able to play it on his own (big plus!) Normally he's bored by games within ten or fifteen minutes, but we had to pull him away from this one. The best aspect of this game for me was that it was actually non-violent. The worst you see is throwing ice cream at "tanks" that shoot mint chocolate chip at you! There were also different types of play on different levels, which I think played into my son not getting bored.
The one con for this game is that it is not intense enough I don't think for older kids who are used to fighting games.
Ok Game August 9, 2008 Stephen Bluestein (Woodland Hills, CA, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Wii version of this Spongebob game is OK. Nothing great. I should of rented it rather than buy it. The kids were done with it in a day or two.
