5 out of 5 stars WraptorSkinz Nintendo DS Lite Screen Scratch Protectors   October 17, 2008

These proctectors are awesome. I just ordered 1 pack to try them out that I'm also considering ordering more. They truly protect your screen from scratches and are very easy to use.

While it did take a knack to get it on without bubbles, I love these static cling covers. I had som sticky ones and it was almost impossible to get the residue off. I've taken the top ones and used them for my cell phone and my veiwer on my camera.

4 out of 5 stars Good Buy   June 21, 2008

The scratch protectors work great but had to replace them several times because my 9 year old would press down hard when playing games and it left marks on the protectors. When I use it I have no problems.

2 out of 5 stars Low price so-so alternative   May 17, 2008

These will protect your screen but beware it is very difficult to apply them without trapping air bubbles and nearly impossible to get the air bubbles out. The more expensive HORI (available in the Nintedo Stores) are thicker and, more importantly, I was able to simply apply those with no bubbles at all. Of course, if you get large dust particles between the screen and filter there is not question that you will have bubbles.

The thinner material of the WraptorSkins just tends to more easily trap air. The bubbles show up very dramatically when the power is off but when you turn it on, the screen only looks dirty (like glasses with dried water drops). One can live with the air bubbles under the WraptorSkinz but I am picky enough that I will keep these in a drawer for "emergencies " and buy the HORI version for day to day use.

4 out of 5 stars Seems a bit fragile, but does the job well   May 2, 2008

I owned a Palmtop in the past and it taught me that one should never touch a touch screen with a stylus without a screen protector in between. Some tapping is okay, but once you start writing, you'll get scratches on your screen very quickly. So now that I bought a Nintendo DS, I added screen protectors to my order right away.

The material isn't really like what I had on my Palm. When putting it on the screen, I had the impression it wouldn't really stand writing/sliding over it with the stylus. After playing Brain Age for a while, it seems I was wrong, the protectors still look perfect.

There are still some bubbles, but they're not really visible when the screen's turned on so I don't mind them.

These certainly offer the best value for your money.
