Product Description Intec's Xbox 360 Cooling Station is a great way to display your new 360, while keeping it secure from overheating. It has 2 ultra quiet motors to keep the 360 cool at all times. The vertical layout saves space and provides better ventilation. Conveniently stores up to four memory sticks. Stand glows bright green to match your Xbox 360. Low-profile, and custom-designed for your new console.

OK Overall December 3, 2008 B. Stoll (Randolph, NY USA) It looks nice (it has a cool green glow when it's on), doesn't take up a lot of extra space, and does a pretty good job of cooling my XBOX 360. It has its own power supply, so it doesn't draw any extra power from your 360. It would be nice if it didn't have a rather large plug, however.
With that being said, I'm not completely satisfied with it. After having this product for only a couple months of very limited use (due mainly to my extreme work schedule), it got VERY loud. The fans sound like they're ready to die. Have you ever heard a cooling fan in a computer power supply when it's about to quit working? It sounds like that x2 (due to this having 2 fans). I'm not sure I would recommend this product to anyone.
Not so cool cooler December 2, 2008 W. Pickert (florida) This cooling station really does not move a lot of air in the stock configuration. The dust grilles have holes that are so small, It could clog very fast if used in a dusty environment. I removed the grilles and widened the holes in the plastic where the fans are. Airflow was acceptable, but still not a lot. I replaced the fans with ones that have double the cubic feet per min. airflow. I also discarded the power supply that came with the unit. The fans are 12 volts, the power supply is 9 volts. I had a 12 volt wall wart supply, so I used it instead. works great now. If the unit had come with a 12v supply, I might not have had to "butcher" a very nice cooling stand. As it comes from the manufacturer, it's not very usable as a cooling device.
Great Fan base for the 360 November 25, 2008 J. Evans (Scottsdale,AZ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this after getting the 3 red lights. Now granted while my 360's warranty was extended by MS for an additional 3 years I wanted to ensure the cooling stayed in check. Using this by itself is decent and works well.. However I am a Tim Taylor kinda guy, more power!! Since it runs off it's own A/C adaptor and is extremely quiet I paired it with the NYKO EX cooler as well I picked up at a gamestop.. With this fan blowing cool air into the 360 and the NYKO EX sucking out the hot air, I checked the air exiting the system and it was over 15 degrees warmer than the room.. I also performed home thermometer test and both working in unison reduced the 360's internal temperature about 12-15 degrees. This is well worth the purchase if you pair it with something like the NYKO EX as well.
Looks Cool, Realtively Functional, But A Bit Noisy November 23, 2008 Charlie X (Tazewell, VA USA) The Xbox 360 Cooling Station enhances the look of your Xbox console with the green lighting around the base which kinda looks cool to show off to your friends, although who stares at the console while your doing some intense gaming? The fans are functional and add a "measure" of extra cooling which, if anything they can be helpful to the newer Xbox's built in cooling fans but, I'm not sure if they would be enough to handle the cooling issues in the older generation Xbox's, but then again they can only help. The unit also has a place to hold four memory sticks, and has an edge over other add-on cooling solutions in that it has it's own power source and doesn't draw it from the Xbox console's power supply. I do take issue however with the Product description stating that it is "Ultra-Quiet", and while it's not overly noisy or distracting during game play it is noticeable when browsing in the dashboard area. Overall I like the product and it is reasonably priced even if for nothing else than just making making my Xbox console look cool, with the extra cooling boost being thrown in as a bonus.
Great November 18, 2008 teacher (mi) I just got the fan today. from what i noticed, it didnt really keep my xbox that cool. maybe it was bc it was in a cabinet but i moved it out so ill see what happens. the glow is really cool also. it doesnt look like the nasty green in the picture. its like the green button on the xbox. but i would recommend getting this. best fan ive seen so far.
